We are pleased to announce that Dr. Eri Nakagawa, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Music, Mahidol University, and long-serving Head of the Thailand Branch of our competition, has been awarded the 2026 Foreign Minister’s Commendation of Japan in recognition of her longstanding dedication to the education of young pianists and her significant contribution to promoting cultural exchange between Japan and Thailand through music.
The Foreign Minister’s Commendation is a prestigious award presented to individuals and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to the promotion of international relations and friendship between Japan and other countries.
We would like to express our deepest respect and gratitude for Dr Nakagawa’s remarkable achievements and years of dedication. We also extend our heartfelt congratulations on this well-deserved honour.
We sincerely wish her continued success and look forward to her future accomplishments.
